Rules
- Each team must have two riders. Each team can use one or two bikes. In the event of a breakdown, the team can continue on one bike.
- Each rider will receive a helmet sticker at sign-up that displays a number and an A or B. This sticker must be placed on the left side of the helmet, on the jaw. Make sure it is not covered by the goggle strap. The A and B will enable scoring to determine the number of laps each team member has ridden during the race.
- Each team will also receive one exchange tag with their team number. This tag, with a grommet hole in it, must be carried by the rider on the race track. The tag must be given to the teammate waiting in the designated impound area before they can enter the track.
- You must determine the most secure method to fasten the tag to your bike or body and still be able to switch the tag to your teammate.
- The relay tag must be switched in the impound area. Lost tags must be replaced before a teammate can proceed.
- It is the riders’ responsibility to ride slowly and safely through the checkpoint to be scored.
- For safety, ride slowly and safely through the impound area.
- For safety, only riders are permitted in the impound area.
- The largest bike size will determine the class.
- In bike and ATV age classes, the youngest age will determine the class. Age is determined on the day of the race.
- The most advanced rider will determine the class.
- A riders meeting explaining the rules will take place before each race.
- It is the rider’s responsibility to abide by all rules for themselves, family members, mechanics, and anyone associated with their team.
- Riders must stay on the designated track as marked. Any rider varying from the course will be docked at the discretion of officials.
- Unsportsmanlike conduct by a rider, mechanic, or family member can result in disqualification without a refund for all parties.
- If your team runs an even number of laps, you and your partner must have the same number of laps.
- If your team runs an odd number of laps, you and your partner must have only a one-lap difference.
